We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the anthology These Roma Are Queer! Together we raised 8194 SEK toward their continued work.
These Roma Are Queer, published in 2024, is a collaborative anthology created by the independent publishing house Leányvállalat and the Roma collective Ame Panzh. Conceived as a platform to shed light on the lives of Roma LGBTQ+ individuals, the project aimed to move beyond stereotypical or tokenized depictions of minorities, instead centering on authentic experiences and daily realities.
Sedan Prisma Litteraturpris grundades har vi strävat efter att stötta olika intiativ som verkar för queera personers rättigheter, exempelvis genom att samla in pengar eller använda Prismas plattformar för att lyfta marginaliserade röster i det queera communityt.
Ett av projekten vi uppmärksammade 2025 var These Roma Are Queer genom en insamling. These Roma Are Queer är en antologi publicerad 2024 av det oberoende förlaget Leányvállalat och det romska kollektivet Ame Panzh. De beskriver själva projektet såhär:

För att fler ska få tillgång till texterna arbetar kollektivet bakom These Roma Are Queer med att översätta den till engelska.
Vi vill både engagera vår publik i solidariska initiativ bortom våra landsgränser och konkret stötta våra queera syskon internationellt genom insamling av pengar. Prisma Litteraturpris har tidigare stöttat och uppmärksammat Pennor för Palestina, The Orange Library i Gambia och RFSL Newcomers i Malmö.
